Rotor Chain Crusher (RCC)

The Rotor Chain Crusher is a universal machine for the first processing step.

The unit is ideal for the initial treatment, breakdown, dedusting and compound separation of a variety of input materials. Our customers around the world value its exceptional performance in processing WEEEs (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), automobile shredder residue (ASR), aluminium scrap and many other metal compounds and composites.

The Rotor Chain Crusher uses rotating, beating chain tools to break down input materials with a high impact force, separating, but mostly not destroying, the components. This allows pollutants to be fully and easily isolated, as prescribed for the processing of electrical appliances.

The chain tools, which exert high impact forces on the input materials, give way with large resistances, which makes the RCC relatively insensitive to extraneous materials, and keeps tool costs down. The heavy construction, derived from UMS's ore processing experience, guarantees a long service life and low wear. All tools and wear plates are easily accessible and replaced.

The RCC is available in two sizes. The smaller unit, with a cylindrical diameter of 1,200 mm, is primarily used for dedusting and breaking down small appliances. The larger unit, with a diameter of 2,000 mm, works effectively with input materials of up to 800 x 800 x 800 mm, and a weight of up to 80 kg.
